was founded by Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec from Poland.

Some time ago, fascinated by the sound of musical glass, they left their places in the symphony orchestra in Gdańsk and began to realize their own idea for performance.

Today, they play the glass harp in a duo, as well as with other musicians. They have successfully performed with string quartets and various chamber ensembles.

GlassDuo has worked with most Polish orchestras, including the Warsaw National Philharmonic and Sinfonia Varsovia, as well as with orchestras outside Poland.

They are the only glass music group in Poland and one of the very few professional ensembles in the world.

GlassDuo's instrument is the largest professional glass harp in the world. Its range covers 5 octaves. The bowls are professionally tuned and ready to play without any water in them.

The musicians have several world premieres of musical works composed especially for them. The result is works composed by Zbigniew Preisner, Mieczysław Litwiński, Gary Eyster, Zbigniew Pniewski, Piotr Salaber, Tom Smail, Anna Penczewska, Aleksander Przeradowski, Jean Châtillon, and Daniele Furla.

GlassDuo has made numerous recordings for radio and television, collaborating with, among others: Arte TV, Discovery Channel, BBC, TVN, TVP1, TVP2, TVP Gdańsk, TVP Polonia, Polsat, PR1, ANTENA 3, Deutsche Welle, Public Radio International, Reuters, LRytas TV, and Associated Press.

"Glass" music also inspires artists from the theater world. To date, music recorded by GlassDuo has been featured in: Mickiewicz's "The Forefathers' Eve" (music by Monika Żytke, New Theater, Słupsk, 2007), W. Gombrowicz's "The Marriage" (arrangements by GlassDuo, Stefan Jaracz Theatre, Łódź, 2007), M. Saltikov-Schedrin's "Judas" based on the story "Mr. and Mrs. Golovlev" (music by Piotr Salaber, Ateneum Theatre, Warsaw, 2010).

GlassDuo has been invited to many local and international music and cultural festivals around the world, visiting over 40 countries.
