CULTURAMA: PLAYGROUND Festival

What is the game of notes? How does the concert - with its music, but also stage, audience and collective energy - draw us into a game of co-experiencing? This year, from June 13 to 27, the summer festival CULTURAMA dedicates its eighth edition to the game and its connection to high musical art.

In the spirit of play - as an experience and culture of life, CULTURAMA will again intertwine classical with contemporary art, leaving a strong European mark on the Sofia summer season.

We can expect a French jazz evening in the Crystal Garden, a multimedia performance based on Schubert, Müller and Bachinski at RCSI Toplocentrala, our most large-scale event to date - the opera Il Viaggio a Reims or The Hotel of the Golden Lily by Gioachino Rossini at the Military Club and an experimental concert with electronics based on Bach's music, again at RCSI Toplocentrala.

As part of this year's festival experience, we have also created a special interactive game that invites the audience to engage even more actively in the world of CULTURAMA. The game is inspired by the theme PLAYGROUND and turns participation in the festival itself into a personal adventure.
