In Brazilian Portuguese, Pagode means a gathering of musicians who get together around a table to celebrate with music. It is in this friendly atmosphere that the Roda do Cavaco collective presents a powerful pagoda, backed by a cheerful rhythm section.
Original compositions are mixed with covers of great sambistas such as Zeca Pagodinho, Grupo Fundo de Quintal, and Paulinho da Viola. São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Paris, Roda do Cavaco connects these three cities to the delight of an ever-growing audience.
