CULTURAMA Festival Artists in the City

CULTURAMA is a platform for the performing arts, dedicated to theatre, music, visual arts, dance and literature. At the heart of this fourth edition of the festival is once again the National Scholarship “With Effort Towards the Stars”, whose scholars are among the artists, presenting themselves and their projects after the support they received, as bearers of the idea of free artists looking for new directions.

CULTURAMA goes out among people, looking for unexpected spaces to influence and contribute to the city’s culture and to create a different, uplifting mood that draws in, educates and multiplies art lovers. In this way the festival widens its social impact to places such as Kino Kabana – NDK, the Botanical Garden, the Sofia City Art Gallery, Structura Gallery, the Pavazh Garden, the stage in Borisova Garden, the hall of the National Student House, the Maymunarnika, the garden behind the National Art Gallery, Slaveykov Square, the courtyard of Kvadrat 500, the terrace of Toplocentrala, the helipad of the Millennium Hotel, the hall of the French Cultural Institute, Oborishte 5, Mission 23, the Triangular Tower, the Western Gate and others.

CULTURAMA brings a new creative concept every year, holding its role as a strategic artistic platform and creating the conditions for a dynamic intercultural dialogue and an active exchange of professional experience.
