The group showcases Argentine tango traditions, tango nuevo, and their own compositions infused with jazz elements. Constantly striving to explore and present various facets of tango, the musicians quickly developed their unique style, encouraging listeners to experience the genre in a completely new light. In their music, tango gains new life, continuously inspiring next generations of listeners. Their incredible passion, ideas for music, fresh sound and unique style that is perfect for dancing have captured the hearts of listeners, leading the band to perform on stages all around the world.

They have performed in over 30 countries across 4 continents, earning acclaim at the largest tango festivals and prestigious music venues, such as the Paderewski Festival in the United States, Taipei Tango Festival in Taiwan, Schleswig Holstein Music Festival in Germany, La Locura Tango Festival in Austria, Tarbes en Tango Festival in France, Copenhagen Jazz Festival in Denmark, and Oster Tango Festival in Switzerland.

In 2019, Bandonegro was on a five-week tour in the Argentinean Buenos Aires, performing in numerous prestigious clubs like Canning or La Viruta, and during the Argentina Tango Salon Festival. A special version of “Gallo Ciego” by Bandonegro was showcased during the finals of the Buenos Aires Tango World Cup, the world's largest tango event.

They have released five albums through prestigious music labels. Their original album “Hola Astor,” blending tango with jazz and rock elements, has been hailed by critics as a revolutionary contribution to the genre.

At the beginning of 2025, the band's latest album will be released, featuring original music that combines the essence of tango nuevo with jazz and minimal music. The recordings were made at the iconic Fortmusic Studio in Buenos Aires, with guest appearances by world-class Argentine jazz musicians, including Daniel Pipi Piazzolla – grandson of Astor Piazzolla, and prominent music producers.
