PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION
The paintings from an exhibition by M. Mussorgsky, presented in an original way, completely unaffected by the attempts made so far by various musicians and groups.
Here, in his capacity as arranger and pianist, Konstantin Kostov is also a co-author. Together with Hristo Yotsov on percussion and Dimitar Karamfilov on double bass, they manage to recreate the images of the entire cycle in a modern interpretation, relevant and stylistically enriched, as all three brilliant musicians and partners are also exceptional improvisers who have a serious view of classical music but move freely in the realm of CROSSOVER.
